Newsflash
On 25 July 2006 the Government announced its decision to create a new Large Facilities Council, by merging the current responsibilities of CCLRC and PPARC and by transferring responsibility for nuclear physics from EPSRC to the new Council. Since the announcement, the Office of Science and Innovation (OSI) has been working together with the senior management of the Councils with the aim of implementing this decision by 1 April 2007.
